Think Again Media are delighted to be working with the Federation of Music Services on a major campaign to reaffirm the value and maximise the impact of music teaching in the UK. Details were announced in a press release from the FMS:

Think Again Media appointed to assist in profile raising and training
The Federation of Music Services (FMS) has announced that it is launching a campaign to champion the value of music and to raise awareness of the essential role of music services for children, schools and families in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Former Music Manifesto Champion, Marc Jaffrey, of Think Again Media will be supporting the FMS in a programme of media and advocacy work with Music Services around the country. Think Again will be working alongside the FMS’ public relations consultants, Watershed Consulting.
Think Again Media aims to help politicians and the public understand the value of the FMS and Music Services’ work and the role they play in enriching children and young people’s lives. Services will have access to training and expertise to help them get their messages across powerfully.
Nationally, Marc Jaffrey and his team will also be working with the FMS on a public affairs programme that will see a wide range of speakers championing the work of music services in the face of turbulent political and economic times.
FMS Chief Executive, John Witchell, commented, “It is important that the public are aware of how much work music services are doing and how essential it is to sustain it, even in a difficult economic climate. Music is an essential part of every child’s education. Through the expansion of music service activities, more and more young people are experiencing the transformational power of music. We are committed to working at the centre of music education partnerships so that resources are maximised for the benefit of all young people in schools and communities. At times like this music is more important than ever! So we are delighted to be teaming up with Think Again to ensure that we get our message across.”
