Our solution
The Think Again team have unmatched experience in communications, journalism and managing through crisis. They know what it’s like to be on both sides of the microphone and are brilliant at passing on their skills, experience and knowledge. The training sessions include:
• Working out what you really want and need to say
• Identifying your key audiences
• Using clear language and avoiding jargon
• Body language and presentation
• Harnessing the power of new and social media
• Dealing with hostile questioning
• The anatomy of a crisis, and how to prevent one happening to you
All sessions include one-to-one TV and radio interviews with detailed feedback and tips on how to improve.
Outcomes
• This course will give you the skills and tools to communicate your message to stakeholders and the wider public
• You will learn how to develop your key message, to target the right audience and communicate clearly and confidently
• You will learn how the media work, and how important they can be to the success of your school
• You will understand why ignoring social media is not an option, and how it must be made to work for you
• You will understand how to deal with difficult or hostile questions, how to prevent crises developing and what to do if you find yourself caught up in one
• You will leave with improved skills in writing, speaking and presenting
The training costs £285 per person, plus VAT.
